Golden Delicious – The golden-yellow seduction
The queen of the South Tyrolean hills, where the wind and sun paint her red cheeks – while her sisters in the valley shine a noble golden yellow. The crisp flesh conceals an overwhelming sweetness that continues to delight even as the apple becomes increasingly tender as it ripens. Golden Delicious is the proverbial healthy piece of fruit with plenty of vitamin B1 and B2, which is good for digestion and also has an antioxidant effect.
